White House Visit (in December)

I just realized that I never posted our photos from the White House tour we went on. We were not allowed to take any pictures inside the West Wing, but as you can see, we could take as many as we wanted outside! We were able to take some inside the Press room as well, which was kind of fun. You would actually be kind of shocked at how small that room really is. It always looks so big on T.V. Anyway, we had a fantastic time, and we learned a great deal. We were even able to look into the Oval Office and see the Resolute Desk. Now, for those of you who have seen the movie "National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets", you will understand what I am talking about. I asked our guide if there really was a matching desk in England, and after some discussion with one of the guards, the answer is a big YES. It is in Parliament. Kind of cool.
